EXEMPTION OR REDUCTION OF PUBLIC FEES
INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS
Students participating in student exchange programs, under established agreements, will be exempt from paying the corresponding fees for academic services.
ORPHANS OF CIVIL OR MILITARY SERVANTS WHO DIED IN THE LINE OF DUTY
They will be exempt from academic fees for the subjects or credits enrolled for the first time.
HONOR ROLLS
Honor Roll in High School or Higher Vocational Training:
- Students with honor roll in high school will be exempt from academic fees the first time they enroll in the first year of university studies.
- Students with honor roll obtained in a higher vocational training course completed in Castilla-La Mancha will receive free enrollment in the first year of university studies at the University of Castilla-La Mancha.
- Secondary education students who rank among the top three in national or regional olympiads in any of the high school or higher vocational training disciplines will receive a 100% exemption of the first-year tuition fees for undergraduate studies. This exemption does not apply to administrative fees.
Honor Roll in university studies:
- Students who have obtained the honor roll qualification for the same studies in subjects from the immediately preceding academic year will be exempt from paying the fees for the subjects they enroll for the first time up to an amount equivalent to the credits or subjects for which they obtained the honor roll.
- Deductions for honor roll enrollments will be applied to the total amount of enrollment fees based on the credits or subjects enrolled for the first time. The amount of this deduction cannot exceed the total amount of the credits or subjects enrolled.
EXTRAORDINARY BACCALAUREATE AWARD
Students enrolled in the first year who have received the Extraordinary Baccalaureate Award through a resolution from the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha will be exempt from academic fees.
VICTIMS OF TERRORISM
All individuals, their children, and spouses who have been victims of terrorist actions will be exempt from academic fees.
STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES
Students with a disability level of 33% or higher are entitled to a total exemption of public academic fees.
LARGE FAMILY
- General Category: It includes a 50% reduction in academic and administrative fees. The School Insurance, if applicable, will be paid in full.
- Special Category: It includes a total exemption from administrative and academic fees, except for the School Insurance.
- Exemption or fee reduction will apply in the educational context when the large family status is held at the beginning of the academic year in which it is to be applied. If the title is still being processed on that date, the aforementioned benefits can be obtained by submitting the recognition or renewal application, as well as a sworn statement of the category in which the large family is classified.
- If the justification for the title is not provided before December 31 of the current year, the granted benefits will be automatically canceled, and the corresponding amount must be paid.
- Loss of the large family status or a change in category during the academic year will not affect the enjoyment or amount of the benefit.
PEOPLE HOLDING REFUGEE STATUS
People who, in accordance with the provisions of Law 12/2009, of October 30, regulating the right to asylum and subsidiary protection, have acquired refugee status or who hold the right to subsidiary protection will have the right to the total exemption of the payment of public prices for registration. This exemption does not affect administrative fees and charges. Students who take advantage of this provision must provide the corresponding resolution accrediting such conditions issued by the competent body in accordance with the applicable legislation.
VICTIMS OF GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE
Victims of gender violence, as well as their daughters and sons under 25 years of age and minors subject to their guardianship, or guardianship and custody, referred to in Organic Law 1/2004, of December 28, on Measures of Comprehensive Protection against Gender Violence, will have the right to total exemption from paying public prices. This exemption does not affect administrative fees and charges.
Students who take advantage of this provision will have to provide the corresponding resolution accrediting such conditions issued by the competent body in accordance with the applicable legislation.
BENEFICIARIES OF THE MINIMUM LIVING INCOME BENEFITS
The beneficiaries of the minimum vital income benefit to whom said condition is recognized, based on the seventh additional provision of Law 19/2021, of December 20, which establishes the minimum vital income, will have the right to exemption full payment of public prices. This exemption does not affect administrative fees and charges.
YOUNG PEOPLE UNDER GUARDIAN PROTECTION MEASURES
Young people who are or have been under an administrative protection measure of custody or guardianship or who are in a situation of special vulnerability complying with a judicial or extrajudicial measure, referred to in article 33 of Law 7/2023, of March 10, of Care and Protection of Children and Adolescents of Castilla-La Mancha, will be entitled to total exemption from paying public registration fees as well as administrative fees and charges. People who take advantage of this provision must provide the corresponding supporting documentation, provided by the Provincial Delegation of Social Welfare in their province.
DISCOUNTS
In order to promote intra-regional mobility, undergraduate students who can document that they are registered in the Autonomous Community of Castilla-La Mancha, with a minimum of 3 months of residency prior to enrollment, will be entitled to a discount of up to a maximum of 100 euros for academic services, provided they are pursuing official university studies at the University of Castilla-La Mancha in a province different from their family residence.
METHOD OF PAYMENT FOR ENROLLMENT
• Bank deposit (bank receipt): The payment can be made through the indicated banking entities on the payment form, which must be made within five days after formalizing the enrollment.
• Direct debit: Students can also choose to pay through direct debit, for which the direct debit order or mandate must be signed by the account holder, in accordance with the SEPA regulations that came into effect in February 2014. Students must provide the IBAN and SWIFT codes of the bank account from which the debit will be made. The direct debit order or mandate will be automatically generated during the online enrollment process, and the student must print the PDF document generated by the application. After signing it, they should submit it to the Academic Management Unit of the Campus.
• Credit card payment: Students can also choose to pay with a credit card at the time of enrollment. The enrollment manual provides detailed instructions on how to make the payment using a credit card.
The University of Castilla-La Mancha provides a web application for students to consult and manage their generated receipts. Through this application, students can check paid and pending receipts, modify the payment method, and make payments by credit card for both enrollment fees and other financial transactions (academic certifications, credit recognitions, etc.). PAYMENT OPTIONS
There are two payment options for enrollment:
• Full payment: The enrollment fee will be paid in a single payment at the beginning of the academic year, choosing either bank deposit or direct debit.
• Instalment payment:
- Payment cannot be split if the amount to be paid is less than 300 euros.
- The fees corresponding to administrative services will be paid in full in the first instalment.
The amount of the fees for academic services for each instalment will be charged by the University to the accounts
- indicated by the student on the last business day of each month, starting from July and ending in April. The amount of each installment will be 10% of the total price for academic services.
- In the event that a student formalizes their enrollment in a month other than July, they must pay the amounts corresponding to the past installments starting from July in the first installment.
- Students who complete their studies in any session prior to the last installment described above must pay all pending installments before applying for their degree.
Important: Students who fail to pay the owed amounts to the university within the established deadlines will have their access to all university services suspended. Students who owe amounts for university services prior to enrolling in an academic year must settle those amounts.
