The Department of Technologies and Information Systems (DTSI) is based at the Escuela Superior de Informática de Ciudad Real, teaching in several undergraduate, master's and doctoral degrees, located in centers on the Ciudad Real and Toledo campuses as well as in the Almadén and Talavera de la Reina cities. The DTSI carries out research and development (R&D), dissemination and technology transfer activities, covering a wide range of areas within computer science and information technologies.
The DTSI includes different categories of personnel: teaching and research staff, research and development contract staff, administration and services staff, laboratory technicians and research fellows. The areas of knowledge of the teaching and research staff are Computer Architecture and Technology (ATC) and Computer Languages and Systems (LSI).
