Description of the doctoral project: Study and optimization of the production of biofuels —both solid and liquid— and bioproducts derived from residual biomass. The research will focus on the evaluation of hydrothermal carbonization (HTC) and hydrothermal liquefaction (HTL) processes.

Duration: The estimated time for completing the PhD is 3–4 years

Start date: Immediately
