Travelling in their characteristic trishaws, CWA volunteers and users visited the different sections of IIER on a very special tour. During the visit, researchers shared in an approachable way what they work on and how some of their experimental facilities operate.
Participants took an active role, asking questions and showing interest. One of the topics that most caught the attention of the older visitors was the use of animal fats to produce biofuels.
The day ended on a very positive note, providing a rewarding experience of outreach and social connection for all participants.
